The Louisiana IceGators presented a check today to UL’s Ragin Cajun Athletic Foundation for $3,000. The money was raised from a jersey auction at the IceGators “UL Night” on February 24th honoring Coach Mark Hudspeth, his staff and the entire football team. The IceGator players wore special UL themed jerseys which were sponsored by Affordable Auto Paint & Body and Sultan’s Café.
“It was a pleasure to have assisted the Ragin Cajun Athletic Foundation,” said IceGators GM Louis Dumont. “Honoring Coach Hud and his team and supporting the Ragin Cajun Athletic Foundation is something the Louisiana IceGators felt very strongly about”. Dumont also added. “We look forward to strengthening the current relationship with the foundation for many years to come”.
