Dr. Otis Drew, Orthopedic Surgeon, is dedicated to providing complete orthopedic care and sports medicine to Acadiana. Dr. Drew specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of a wide range of musculoskeletal (bone, joint and muscle) problems.

After receiving his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans,Dr. Drew then completed his internship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. Next, he completed his residency in orthopedics at Tulane University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Drew then completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Surgery in Dallas, Texas.

 
Dr. Drew has provided sports medicine coverage for the NBA “World Champions” Dallas Mavericks’ D-League basketball team and professional hockey team in Dallas.

Dr. Drew instructs other orthopedic surgeons on arthroscopic surgical techniques. He has also participated and published several research studies in various orthopedic journals.

Professional affiliations include American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America, Louisiana Orthopedic Association and Louisiana State Medical Society.

When Dr. Soileau is not lecturing, he is a consultant to several pageant coaches throughout the US. He has judged and worked with local and national Miss USA, Miss Teen USA, Miss America, and Mrs. America contestants. His skill and expertise has gained the trust of pageant contestants, models, actors, and others whose smile is key to success.

Dr. Soileau is a faculty member of the Institute of Oral Art and Design (IOAD) in Tampa, Florida and the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum (PAC~Live) in San Francisco. He teaches dentists from all over the world the techniques he uses in his practice. He is a member of the advisory board for genR8Tnext seminars and a consultant for several technologies- based dental manufacturers. His professional memberships include the ADDA, LDA, ADA, AGD, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
